An action figure is a posable almost life like representation of a character, made of plastic or other materials, and often based upon a movie, comic book, video game, or television program. Redressable action figures are sometimes referred to as action dolls. This is a distinction from action figures that have all or most of their clothes directly applied to their bodies.
