Cybertron Mode Optimus Prime: Transformers Animated Cybertron Mode Optimus Prime features an ion axe that converts into a giant war axe, and a windshield that converts into a melee shield. Optimus Prime features a Cybertronian truck mode and a Deluxe Class robot mode colored in red, blue and silver, with translucent blue sections. He seems like a fairly well-balanced robot, with articulation at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and feet. A well-trained natural leader, this comparatively untested version of Optimus Prime swells wistfully on the accounts of old battles until he finally received his first assignment: pitted against Megatron and the other Decepticons, Prime leads the Autobots in a venture to keep the All Spark out of the tyrannical grasp of Megatron.

Lockdown: Transformers Animated Lockdown features a holdout hook weapon, and a cruiser engine that can be converted into a blaster. He transforms from a sleek black car into a particularly cool-looking robot mode. Boasting a predominantly black chassis with touches of green, yellow and red, Lockdown appears to support articulation at the shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips and knees. Lockdown’s loyalty to the Decepticon cause ends only to areas of personal benefit; Lockdown’s association with the Decepticons grants him access to upgrades and new weapons. He frequently sells his services as an inordinately skilled hunter, and enjoys collecting trophies from the remains of his fallen adversaries.

Bumblebee: Transformers Animated Bumblebee features flip-out stingers and snap-on rocket thrusters. Bumblebee’s kid-faced Animated aesthetic somewhat bears a resemblance to his Gen 1 incarnation; his helmet retains the characteristic small budding horns. At a glance, Animated Bumblebee appears to be articulated at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Preferring action to words, Bumblebee enjoys his thruster-powered striped sportster mode. Bumblebee’s boisterous exuberance overwhelms the majority of his action, leaving no interim for fear of the menacing Decepticons. In robot mode, Bumblebee is assisted by his flip-out stingers.

Prowl: Transformers Animated Prowl features bladed mecha stars, a traffic light chain weapon, and flip-down flash blasters. Prowl transforms from a sleek black and gold motorcycle into an especially fleet-looking robot; he appears to include articulation at the neck, shoulders, elbows, waist, hips and knees. Prowl’s existence is largely defined by his unwavering devotion to the ancient art of Circuit-Su, through which Prowl has attained a level of enlightenment that gives him perspective and a degree of reserve in regards to the war between Autobots and Decepticons. However, Prowl’s philosophical reticence does not prevent him from supporting his fellow Autobots and defending humans against the Decepticons.
